Ernstige Dyslexie (ED) is hulpverlening voor jeugdigen met technische leesproblemen eventueel in combinatie met spellingsproblemen wat een ernstige beperking oplevert voor de school- en/of toekomstige werksituatie. De Hulpverlening die onder het perceel ED valt dient bij te dragen aan het behalen van de volgende doelen:

  • De Jeugdige behaalt een voldoende niveau van technisch lezen en spellen uitgedrukt in gangbare eisen en criteria passend bij de leeftijd, schoolniveau en/of beroepsperspectief van de Jeugdige.
  • De Ouders en school beschikken over toereikende ondersteuningsvaardigheden om op eigen kracht de technische leesontwikkeling en eventueel de spellingsontwikkeling van het kind positief aan te sturen en te stimuleren.
  • De Jeugdige weet van welke hulpmiddelen hij/zij gebruik kan maken, zodat hij/zij minder hinder ondervindt van haar dyslexie en zich beter kan redden op school en in de maatschappij. Ook Ouders en school zijn op de hoogte van deze hulpmiddelen.
