KWV betreft een gezinsgerichte woonvorm voor jeugdigen van in beginsel 12 tot 18 jaar, waarbij in een kleinschalige setting van vier tot zes jeugdigen 24/7 begeleiding en toezicht wordt geboden door vaste specialistische opvoeders. Centraal staat dat we zorgen dat jeugdigen in hun eigen omgeving kunnen opgroeien.

Binnen KWV staan de volgende uitgangspunten centraal:

1. huiselijkheid en normaliseren;

2. nabijheid van het eigen netwerk;

3. behoud van school, sport en sociale omgeving;

4. gedeeld opvoederschap;

5. systemisch werken;

6. onvoorwaardelijk wonen;
