These terms govern your use of FreeTender. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using FreeTender (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to every visitor, registered user and publisher.
2. What FreeTender is
FreeTender is an open-tender discovery platform. It helps buyers and suppliers find government and private tender notices, requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs) and expressions of interest (EOIs) across sectors and countries, and to receive alerts when new opportunities match their interests. FreeTender is an information and discovery service — it is not the issuing authority for any tender and is not a party to any procurement.
3. Using the Platform
Browsing tenders is free and requires no account. You agree to use the Platform lawfully and not to disrupt it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape it in a way that harms performance, misrepresent your identity, or use it to distribute unlawful, misleading or infringing material. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.
4. Accounts and alerts
Some features — saved searches, email/WhatsApp alerts, shortlists and publishing — require a free account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may unsubscribe from alerts at any time from your account or via the link in any alert email.
5. Publishing a tender
Organisations may publish their own tenders on FreeTender. If you publish, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the information is accurate and lawful. Published listings are reviewed before going live, but review is not a guarantee of accuracy or legitimacy. We may edit, decline, or remove any listing — and operate a takedown process for content that is fraudulent, duplicate, expired, or in breach of these terms.
6. Verify every tender at its official source
Tender details, dates and documents shown on FreeTender may be incomplete, delayed or superseded by a corrigendum. Always open the official source, verify all details and deadlines, and submit your bid through the official channel. See our Disclaimer for the full position on accuracy and liability.
7. Intellectual property
The FreeTender name, logo, design, original written guides and site software are owned by FreeTender and protected by intellectual-property laws. Tender notices remain the property of their respective authorities and are shown with attribution and a link to the source. You may not copy, resell or systematically reproduce the Platform or its original content without permission.
8. Advertising and sponsorship
FreeTender is free to use and is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense), featured listings and direct sponsorships. Advertisements and sponsored placements are clearly distinguished from tender content and do not constitute endorsement. Featured-listing and advertising purchases are subject to any additional terms shown at checkout.
9. No professional advice; no warranty
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. Nothing on FreeTender constitutes procurement, legal, financial or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeTender disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any loss — including missed deadlines, lost bids or business losses — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Platform.
