1. INTRODUCTION

The African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD), in partnership with UNITAID, is implementing the African Health Security Manufacturing Initiative (AHSMI): a strategic partnership to accelerate a resilient African pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, aligning investment, policy and innovation to safeguard health security and advance health equity, with an initial focus on maternal and newborn health. The African Manufacturing Market Intelligence & Network Analysis (AMMINA) platform is a data and intelligence system for the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. This consultancy provides dedicated, sustained support to strengthen AMMINA's data collection and produce industry insights
