This invitation for prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared on the website of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) on IsDB external Website of 26th July, 2026 and Leadership Newspaper of 23rd July, 2026. 2. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has applied for financing from the IsDB toward the cost of Niger State Solar Energy Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for Civil Works for the Construction and Installation of Solar PV Power generation and construction of Grid Interconnection and Evacuation infrastructure in Niger State. 3. The Niger State Government through the Project Management Unit of the Niger State Solar Energy Development Project intends to prequalify contractors for the Civil Works for the Construction and Installation of Solar PV Power generation and construction of Grid Interconnection and Evacuation infrastructure in Niger State packaged into 2 (two) lots as detailed below; 4. Prequalification will be conducted through the prequalification procedures specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, Works and Related Services under IsDB Project Financing, April 2019, Revised in February 2023 (“Guidelines”). Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding Open (ICB-Open) procedures as specified in the Guidelines . 5.
