Cyber Security Awareness Quiz for Indian Citizens

The Government of India, in collaboration with the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and MyGov, is hosting the Cyber Security Awareness Quiz 2026. This engaging quiz aims to raise awareness about cybersecurity best practices among individuals who regularly use online services. The event will run from 19 October 2026 at 4:00 pm to 15 November 2026 at 11:45 pm. Participants have the chance to win exciting prizes, with top winners receiving Rs. 4,000 and a certificate. The Cyber Security Awareness Quiz is part of the global Cyber Security Awareness Month (CSAM), celebrated every October. The 2026 theme, “Be Cyber Street Smart,” utilizes storytelling inspired by Indian Kathputli traditions to impart essential cyber safety lessons. The initiative encourages participants to become vigilant and proactive in safeguarding their digital presence. Participants will engage in a 10-question quiz designed to test and enhance their knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. As digital interactions become increasingly integral to daily life, understanding cybersecurity is crucial. This quiz helps participants learn to navigate digital environments safely, recognize potential threats, and protect personal and community data. Who can participate in the quiz? All Indian citizens are eligible to participate. How is the quiz conducted? The quiz is conducted online with a duration of 300 seconds to answer 10 questions. What are the prizes? Top 5 winners receive Rs. 4,000 each and a certificate. All participants get an e-Certificate. Is there a language option for the quiz? Yes, the quiz is available in both English and Hindi. How are winners selected? Winners are selected through a system-generated randomization method ensuring fairness.
