With reference to the above mentioned bid reference, we would like to request an amendment in the Certification clause mentioned in the document. We sincerely request that the clause be amended as follows: CE Certificate shall be OEM specific, covering the quoted product series/models, as per applicable industry standard. Mandating a model-specific CE certificate is more restrictive than the prevailing industry standard and may limit participation by reputed OEMs whose products are fully compliant with the applicable CE 2/478 Sl. Requested Clause Revision: It is requested to remove this clause as it is restrictive in nature and limits the participation of eligible Indian OEMs. The requirement for mandatory inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant or any other similar foreign analyst/rating agency has no direct correlation with the technical capability, product quality, or performance of the offered equipment.
