L’EPFL a l’intention d’acquérir un lot de stations individuelles et manuelles pour la gravure de métaux et d’oxides comme équipements plateforme pour son Centre de MircoNanoTechnologie (CMi). Le CMi est une installation de salles blanches dédiée à la micro/nano fabrication, centrale pour l’ensemble des facultés de l’EPFL, ainsi que pour les industriels locaux (>650 utilisateurs actifs par an). Ce lot de stations individuelles sera dédié aux besoins de recherche de pointe en micro et nano fabrication, et plus particulièrement comme étapes clés afin d’assurer et/ou de retrouver des propriétés de surface compatibles avec le domaine. Une grande importance sera accordée non seulement à la qualité de chaque station chimique, mais également à leur facilité d’utilisation et en toute sécurité, à leur sécurité liée aux actions de maintenance nécessaires, et à leur flexible mais néanmoins robuste capacité de contrôle des traitements envisagés dans un environnement type R&D. La proximité, la réactivité du fournisseur, la qualité du support disponible (technique, procédés) ainsi que la disponibilité des pièces de rechange sur le long terme, système de contrôle et logiciels inclus, seront également de grande importance.
