Details

L'EPFL a l'intention d'acquérir un analyseur de sorption gravimétrique de gaz et de vapeur à haute pression pour son Laboratoire de Séparations Avancées (LAS) de la Faculté des Sciences de Base (FSB). L'équipement sera dédié à des recherches de pointe sur le comportement de sorption statique et dynamique de l'ammoniac (NH₃), de l'hydrogène (H₂), du dioxyde de carbone (CO₂), de l'azote (N₂) et de la vapeur d'eau sur des matériaux poreux et non poreux. L'instrument doit être doté d'un système gravimétrique basé sur une microbalance, permettant de mesurer directement la capacité d'adsorption à l'équilibre et la cinétique de sorption via la variation de masse de l'échantillon. Il doit être capable de fonctionner en mode statique (équilibre en système fermé, monocomposant) et en mode dynamique (flux continu multicomposant), y compris sous flux gazeux humidifiés et à des températures d'échantillon allant du sub-ambiant à l'élevé. Il doit être capable de tester des mélanges (NH₃/H₂), (CO₂/N₂/vapeur d'eau), etc.
