El objeto de la contratación es la dotación de cobertura de determinados canales de televisión digital y radio a los habitantes de las localidades de La Rioja no cubiertas por las redes oficiales de televisión desplegadas por los radiodifusores para cumplir las obligaciones de cobertura asociadas a sus licencias durante todo el periodo de vigencia del contrato y manteniendo la calidad de la señal en unas condiciones óptimas, todo ello según el alcance previsto en el Pliego de Prescripciones Técnicas que rige la presente contratación. La provisión del servicio de televisión digital objeto del contrato garantizará que el ciudadano va a poder recibir el servicio en las condiciones y plazos que se indiquen. La provisión de este servicio incluirá: - El servicio de difusión y transporte de canales. - La operación y mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo del sistema.
