Roadworks on Marine & Broadway

The Owner invites tenders for:

The Works shall include but are not limited to 5,785 metric tonnes of roadway asphalt, 1,905 square meters of full depth milling, 2,295 square meters of reshaping, 30,885 square meters of surface milling, 560 lineal meters of concrete curb and gutter, 830 square meters of concrete sidewalk and driveway crossings, 170 square meters of concrete truck apron, 60 tonnes of asphalt multi-use pathway, 860 metric tonnes of gravel, traffic islands, landscaping, restoration, pavement markings, signage, adjustments, drainage, traffic signals, and streetlighting. The performance of the Works shall be along the following roadways:

Marine Way: Market Crossing to Byrne Road;

Byrne Road: Marine Way to Southridge Drive;

Broadway: Gaglardi Way to North Road;

Marine Way and Market Crossing Intersection; Marine Way and Byrne Road Intersection; Canada Way and Norland Ave. Intersection; Canada Way and Ledger Ave. Intersection; Canada Way and Elwell Street Intersection. This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization of Roads – 2.0 may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #70-05-25 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works). No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner . All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca .
