Balaka District Council has budgeted funds under Constituency Development Fund ( CDF) for the implementation of various projects in Balaka district and intends to apply part of the funds for construction of projects listed below under Open Tender Method of Procurement using Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Chairperson, Internal Procur ement & Disposal of Assets Committee, Balaka District Council now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the construction of the following: Lot # Description of the Works Constituency T/A Category (MK) 5 Construction of Chisongwe school block Bwaila T/A Kalembo 200 million 6 Construction of Saimoni Bridge. 7 of 2025 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations of 2020. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information f rom the Balaka District Council Procurement Unit; and inspect the bidding Documents at the address given below at clause 6 (a) from 08.00 to 12-00; 13.00 to 16.00 hours local time ( Monday to Friday), except National Public Holidays).
