The assets require regular inspection, preventative maintenance, monitoring and responsive repair to remain safe, fit for purpose and compliant with the Building Act 2004 and applicable specified-system requirements, including SS8/1. Current maintenance is provided mainly by two suppliers, often the original equipment manufacturers. UC is seeking a refreshed, consistent and performance-focused maintenance model that can accommodate one or more providers and a mixed-OEM portfolio. The proposed term is three years plus two discretionary one-year extensions (3 + 1 + 1). Extensions will depend on performance, compliance, value for money and ongoing business need. The Contract is non-exclusive.
