Assignment Title: Fayda for Refugees Endline Data Collection and Analysis

Assignment Countries:

- Ethiopia ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION We are procuring a survey firm in Ethiopia to conduct data collection and analysis to evaluate the impacts of Ethiopia’s national digital ID, Fayda, for refugees, with a focus on access to public and private services, economic and social integration, and broader well-being. The data collection will include an endline face-to-face survey of approximately 3,400 refugee households across two study sites, as well as qualitative data collection in four refugee sites through 8 focus group discussions and 12 key informant interviews. The analysis will include qualitative thematic analysis, descriptive analysis of survey data, and analysis specified in the study’s pre-analysis plan. The outputs of the assignment include an inception report, survey instruments and implementation materials, raw and cleaned datasets, a final field report, qualitative interview guides and transcripts, Stata cleaning and analysis code, a summary note on qualitative findings, and descriptive analysis for a policy report. The assignment is implemented by a World Bank and academic research team in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Refugees and Returnees Service, UNHCR, and the National ID Program. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications unless otherwise stated in the solicitation documents. Where a group of firms associate to submit an EOI, they must indicate which is the lead firm.
