En el marco del Programa Bienal de Trabajo (PBT) 2026-2027 suscrito entre el Ministerio de Salud (MINSA) y UNICEF, se implementan acciones orientadas al fortalecimiento de la Atención Primaria en Salud, la nutrición materna e infantil y la prevención de la desnutrición crónica mediante la estrategia PROCOSAN Materno y Niñez.
Como parte de estas acciones, el MINSA requiere disponer de materiales educativos estandarizados que apoyen los procesos de capacitación, consejería, comunicación para el cambio de comportamiento y acompañamiento a mujeres embarazadas, madres, padres, cuidadores y personal de salud en los diferentes niveles de atención. Estos materiales constituyen herramientas de apoyo para promover prácticas adecuadas de nutrición, alimentación, lactancia materna, monitoreo del crecimiento y desarrollo infantil, así como la adopción de prácticas de cuidado durante el embarazo, el período neonatal y la primera infancia.
Con el fin de asegurar la disponibilidad oportuna de estos materiales en los SILAIS y establecimientos de salud priorizados, UNICEF gestionará la reproducción de los materiales educativos definidos por el MINSA, garantizando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad requeridos para su utilización en actividades de formación, educación y comunicación en salud. Esta contratación contribuirá al fortalecimiento de las capacidades del personal de salud y de la red comunitaria para la implementación de PROCOSAN Materno y Niñez durante el período de ejecución del PBT 2026-2027.
Objetivo general
Contribuir a la implementación de la estrategia PROCOSAN Materno y Niñez mediante la reproducción y entrega de materiales educativos destinados al fortalecimiento de las acciones de promoción, prevención, consejería y educación en nutrición, salud materna, crecimiento y desarrollo infantil que desarrolla el Ministerio de Salud en los diferentes niveles de atención.
