All funded projects must be delivered within: - The City of Dauphin, or - The Rural Municipality of Dauphin. Projects outside these geographic areas are not eligible for support. Applicants should clearly demonstrate the local connection and explain how the proposed activities will benefit people in Dauphin or the RM of Dauphin. Who Is Not Eligible? The foundation does not provide grants to: - For-profit businesses. - Individuals. Projects that have already been undertaken before the Grant Committee’s decision are also not eligible for funding. Applicants should therefore avoid beginning the proposed project before receiving the committee’s funding decision. What Makes a Strong Application? A strong application should demonstrate that the proposed project is both needed and achievable.
Applicants should clearly explain:

The photo and impact statement must be submitted within 90 days of project completion. Grant Agreement Successful applicants must sign a grant agreement with the foundation. The agreement establishes the requirements associated with receiving and using the grant and should be reviewed carefully by the successful organization. Financial Reporting and Paid Invoices Successful applicants must provide paid invoices as part of the grant requirements. Organizations should therefore maintain appropriate records of project-related expenditures and retain documentation demonstrating how grant funds were used. Acknowledging Foundation Support Grant recipients are required to publicly acknowledge the Dauphin & District Community Foundation’s support. Impact Statement and Project Photo Following completion of the project, successful applicants must provide: - A high-resolution photo. - An impact statement.
