This training is part of the ‘Human Rights for All’ initiative and aims to enhance participants’ expertise in utilizing international human rights mechanisms. The training will be held on 7-8 November 2026, and the application deadline is 26 October 2026. This training program aims to equip legal practitioners with the necessary skills to effectively use international human rights mechanisms, particularly focusing on litigation before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). Participants will gain insights into procedures, admissibility requirements, and strategic considerations for using international mechanisms. The program will include theoretical guidance, practical exercises, and discussions based on relevant cases and litigation experiences. Participants will have their transportation and accommodation costs fully covered by the organizers. Additionally, successful completion of the training will result in a certificate of participation. The training is open to individual legal practitioners who practice at the national level and wish to enhance their capacity in international human rights litigation. Applicants should demonstrate relevant professional experience, a strong motivation, and an interest in pursuing cases before international human rights mechanisms. Preference will be given to those with previous litigation experience or a proven interest in this field.
