Details

What’s great about our family of ten schools is that we can be with a child every step of the way, from teaching them to tie their shoelaces right through to congratulating them on their GCSE and A level results and discussing their future plans. This puts us in a unique position; it’s also a tremendous responsibility. Our vision is to be a family of schools that works together to deliver educational excellence based on the things that matter to us. We want collaboration and sharing best practice to be at the heart of everything we do. Further information regarding SEEAT can be obtained here: https://www.seeat.org/

Safeguarding, staff training and site security must be integral to service delivery. The successful contractor will be expected to work collaboratively with school and trust leaders, supporting and developing a motivated cleaning workforce whilst recognising the differing operational requirements of individual schools. The trust is seeking a proactive partner committed to continuous improvement, innovation and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and environmental sustainability without compromising service quality. The Client is not obliged to accept the lowest price submitted for this tender, rather the Client is keen to secure best value from this contract and to deliver best value to its students. Innovative and creative ideas as to how the cleaning services can be developed and improved, will be welcomed. The Client seeks a contractor that is keen to work in partnership and who will deliver to its highest abilities, at all times. Competitive Flexible Procedure This procurement will be run under the Competitive Flexible Procedure. This will follow a two stage approach, with stage 1 being the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ). Here a minimum of 5 candidates (or less, in the event less than 5 meet the minimum criteria) and a maximum of 10 candidates, will progress to stage 2. Any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement and a minimum score of 60% must be achieved. For clarity - a score of 60% does not guarantee selection, rather, the highest scoring candidates will be selected. Selected tenderers will then be invited to stage 2, the Invitation To Tender (ITT). Here, the evaluation of tender response will be set as 35% price and 65% quality.
