About the Proposal Pacific Australia Skills is an Australian Government-funded program that supports skills development, workforce participation, and economic growth across the Pacific region. Pacific Australia Skills works with governments, training institutions, employers, and other stakeholders to strengthen national skills systems and improve workforce outcomes across Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste. Pacific Australia Skills, in partnership with the Solomon Islands Tertiary Education and Skills Authority (SITESA), is seeking a suitably qualified consultant or consulting firm to undertake an Electrical Industry Skills Study and develop an Electrical National Skills Package for Solomon Islands including support to the accreditation process through SITESA. The assignment will support the development of industry-relevant qualifications, competency standards, and training pathways that respond to current and emerging workforce needs within the electrical sector. Requirements/Deliverables The successful contractor will be required to: Conduct an Electrical Industry Skills Study. Support SITESA to establish and engage an ad-hoc Electrical Industry Skills Council. Facilitate stakeholder consultations with industry, government, regulatory bodies, and training providers. Develop competency standards, qualifications, and associated units of competency. Facilitate validation workshops. Support accreditation of the Electrical National Skills Package through SITESA. Deliver all agreed reports and final package documentation.
