DT Global invites proposals for Request for Proposal: CRC First Nations Internship Program. Submissions close on 27 September 2026. DT Global is an international development implementing partner; proposals are submitted to the address given in the notice.
About the Proposal Climate Resilient Communities ( CRC ) is a $234.9 million facility supporting implementation of the Australian Government's climate change commitments under Australia's International Development Policy , in line with partner government priorities. CRC incentivises funding towards gender-responsive, inclusive climate and disaster resilience programming, particularly in the water, food, nature-based solutions, and energy sectors. DFAT has engaged DT Global to support the implementation of CRC. DT Global launched an Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan ( RAP ) on 3 July at our corporate office on Ngunnawal Country in Canberra, Australia to take meaningful action to advance First Nations reconciliation: https://dt-global.com/news/dt-global-innovate-rap-australia/ The CRCSU has a strong commitment to increasing First Nations engagement in international aid and development. A key initiative under the CRCSU First Nations Engagement Strategy is the creation of an internship opportunity designed to enable individuals with relevant transferable skills to gain hands-on experience within the CRC Program and develop meaningful connections with Australia’s international development sector. To meet this objective, CRCSU aims to engage a service provider for: Timely provision of advice for CRCSU on recruitment and selection of an intern. Quality advice on the strategy for recruitment, onboarding and on-the-job-support for a first nations intern. Capacity uplift for key CRCSU staff in the supervision and support of a first nations intern. To be eligible for consideration, the Respondent must be an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) or an individual who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
