1. Introduction - Management of domestic wastewater (greywater) is a serious challenge in rural and semi-urban areas. Untreated wastewater often accumulates in open stagnant water sources, causing environmental degradation, foul odors, and breeding grounds for disease-carrying germs such as mosquitoes. A leach pit (soak pit) is an economical, decentralized, and environmentally sustainable solution designed to safely dispose of greywater by letting it percolate naturally into the ground.

2. Objectives -

  • Safe Disposal: To ensure safe collection and disposal of domestic wastewater.
  • Health and sanitation: Eliminate waterlogging, thereby reducing the risk of waterborne diseases and malaria/dengue.
  • Groundwater recharge: To promote natural filtration and revive local groundwater levels.
  • Community awareness: Encouraging community participation in liquid waste management (LWM) under initiatives like Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).

Quotation should be in your firm letterhead with sign and seal. Attached is the format for submitting your quotation along with drawing and design of structure. Along with the quote, please share the below documents as well (without this we will not be in a position to consider your quotation):
