United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified firms/organizations to submit electronically sealed tenders for Preservation and Digitization of Indonesia’s Glass Plate Negatives Collection

The main objectives of this project are to:

  • Preserve and digitize historic glass plate photography collections related to archaeological and ethnographic documentation, ensuring that they are preserved and digitized for future generations and can serve as a reference for post-disaster recovery.
  • Create a digital archive ensuring high-quality digital images and accurate metadata, including historical, archaeological, and ethnographic information, including gender and Indigenous communities, if available
