A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE CURRENT LICENCE OR CONFIRMATION OF PERPETUAL LICENCE SHALL BE SUBMITTED - MUST HAVE PAID UP CAPITAL OF AT LEAST KES 600 MILLION FOR GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANIES AND AND THE 2025 IRA SHARE CAPITAL AS PUBLISHED ON THE IRA WEBSITE - ATTACH A CURRENT CR12 FROM THE REGISTRAR OF COMPANIES, CERTIFIED WITHIN THE LAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS - CURRENT PROOF OF COMPLIANCE WITH STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: NSSF, SHA, KRA TAX COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE AND BUSINESS PERMIT (EACH CERTIFIED BY AN ADVOCATE OF THE HIGH COURT OF KENYA). - CREDIT RATING CERTIFICATE FROM GCR — MINIMUM RATING A-. THE UNIVERSITY WILL VERIFY THE RATING ON THE GCR WEBSITE. - CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION / INCORPORATION. - REINSURANCE TREATY COVER SLIPS / ARRANGEMENTS FOR 2026 APPROVED BY THE INSURANCE REGULATORY AUTHORITY. - MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF KENYA INSURERS (AKI). A COPY OF THE CURRENT (2026) MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE SHALL BE SUBMITTED. - DECLARATION SIGNED AND STAMPED BY THE CEO / PRINCIPAL OFFICER THAT ALL CLAIMS WILL BE SETTLED WITHIN THE AGREED SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT / TIMELINES / TURNAROUND TIMES. - CERTIFIED COPIES OF AUDITED ACCOUNTS FOR THE LAST TWO (2) YEARS, I.E. 2024 AND 2025, FOR THE KENYAN BUSINESS. - INSURERS AGAINST WHOM A FORMAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN REGISTERED WITH IRA BY PWANI UNIVERSITY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO TENDER.
