Open International Bidding The Central Electricity Board is inviting bids from eligible and qualified local and international bidders through the Government e-Procurement System for the Supply of Smart Energy Meters and Implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) A pre-bid meeting will take place on Thursday 29 October 2026 from 10.00 to 12.00 hours (UTC +4) at the CEB Office, 3rd Floor, New Building, Royal Road, Curepipe, Republic of Mauritius as mentioned in the bidding document. Bids shall be submitted online on the e-Procurement System by Tuesday 01 December 2026 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian Time) at latest. Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bidson Tuesday 01 December 2026 as from 14.31 hours (Mauritian Time) till Thursday 03 December 2026 up to 14.00 hours (Mauritian Time). Bidders shall submit an Original Bid Security amounting to MUR 10M at the address mentioned below on or before the deadline for submission of the bids. The Bid Security shall be valid up to 28 June 2027. Bids will be opened online on the e-Procurement System on Thursday 03 December 2026 as from 14.01 hours up to 18.00 hours (Mauritian Time) at the following address: Central Procurement Board 1st Floor, Social Security House Julius Nyerere Avenue Rose Hill Republic of Mauritius The Central Electricity Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any Bidder.
