1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project 2.0. and intends to apply part of the proceeds for payments under the contract for Basic Package of Nutrition Services: - Ready to use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing (IPF), except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. 2. The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare - Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of commodities to provide a Basic Package of Nutrition Services.: - Ready to use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) . The description of goods is provided in Section II –Bid data sheet (BDS) ITB1.1 and the distribution to end lines is on Annex1 attached to the bidding document. Application of margin of preference of 15% will be applied for locally produced goods meeting the margin of preference requirement of the procurement document. 3. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive bidding procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.
