The UN is seeking a supplier to deliver, deploy and support network security technologies that protect the Organization's global network. The solution shall comprise:

  • Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) — deep packet inspection, application awareness and control,

intrusion detection and prevention, TLS/SSL inspection (including TLS 1.3), DoS/DDoS and anti-spoofing protection, data leak prevention, threat intelligence feed ingestion, site-to-site and remote access VPN, and standards-based routing;

  • Secure Web Gateway (SWG) — web and content filtering, vendor-maintained URL categorization,

malware scanning and sandboxing, and SaaS/CASB visibility and control, including protection for users and mobile devices outside the UN network. The solution must be offered as both physical and virtual appliances across a range of capacity categories, from branch office to enterprise data centre. It must support centralized management with delegated, role- based local administration; multi-factor authentication for administrative access; standardized logging with a minimum two-year retention and real-time export to third-party SIEM tools; and integration with existing UN infrastructure, including enterprise directory services, public cloud platforms and SD-WAN. …
