Ziel der Ausschreibung ist daher die Neubeschaffung eines modernen, zukunftssicheren Vollservice-Library-Management-Systems als Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), das Erwerbung, Katalogisierung, Nutzerverwaltung, Ausleihmanagement, Gebührenverwaltung und ePayment, Kassenprozesse, Onlinekatalog (OPAC), OPAC-App, Statistik und Fernleihe vollständig digital abbildet. Maßgeblich sind die geforderten Funktionen gemäß auszufüllendem Anforderungskatalog.

Lots Lot 1 — Bibliotheksmanagementsoftware: Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist die Lieferung, Anpassung, Implementierung und Einführung eines neuen LMS inklusive aller Schnittstellen, vollständiger Integration der vorhandenen Bibliothekshardware (Selbstverbucher, Kassenautomat, Rückgabeautomat, Verbuchungstechnik, Medien- sicherung, Drucker u.Ä.), Datenmigration, Umsetzung der Bibliothekssatzung (Anlage 1), Schulungen, Dokumentation und laufender SaaS- Betriebsführung. Zum Betrieb des Systems gehören insbesondere die Bereitstellung geeigneter Softwareclients, die Online-Verfügbarmachung des Systems inklusive sämtlicher serverseitigen Voraussetzungen, Wartungsarbeiten, fortlaufende Weiterentwicklung und Updates sowie Helpdesk- und Anwenderunterstützung. Das neue LMS ersetzt das derzeitige System vollständig. Bestehende Daten (Bestandsdaten, Ausleihdaten, Nutzerdaten) müssen migriert werden.
