Beschaffung eines skalierbaren, leistungsfähigen Speichersystems zur Unterstützung daten- und simulationsgetriebener Workflows mehrerer Forschungsprojekte.

Lots Lot 1 — Universität zu Köln - Storage System -Forschungsdatenspeicher-: Gegenstand der Beschaffung ist ein softwarebasiertes, verteiltes Scale-Out-Speichersystem (SDS) mit mindestens sieben Storageknoten und einer nutzbaren Kapazität von mindestens 3 PB. Es muss redundante Speicherung (N+2) unterstützen und die Protokolle S3, NFS und SMB integrieren. Die Knoten sind über mindestens 1GB/s Ethernet verbunden und müssen nahtlos erweiterbar sein. Sicherheitsvorkehrungen, Monitoring und grundlegende Administration durch ITCC-Administratoren sind ebenfalls erforderlich. Dem Angebot liegt ein evb-IT Systemvertrag zugrunde, mit einer Grundlaufzeit von fünf Jahren. Optional muss die Möglichkeit bestehen, einen Support für das 6. bis 8. Jahr anzubieten.
