Technischer Support, Pflege und optionale Leistungen für ein "Open Source" OpenJDK für eine unbegrenzte Anzahl an Installationen (unlimited bis zu den in der u.a. Tabelle angegebenen Mengen) für 4 Jahre.

Lots Lot 1 — Java OpenJDK Support 2026: Java ist das strategische Plattformprodukt für Entwicklungs- und Laufzeitumgebungen der BA. Damit werden Java-Anwendungen unabhängig vom darunter liegenden Betriebssystem ausgeführt (Java virtuelle Maschine JVM bzw. Java Laufzeitumgebung genannt). Als Standardprodukt ist derzeit OpenJDK Java 8 von Azul auf allen Clients der BA installiert. Für die OpenJDK-Software incl. der JavaAcessBridge (JAB) ist der erforderliche technische Support sowie die Pflege inkl. Updates/Upgrades, reine Sicherheitspatche und Hot-Fixe (kritische Sicherheitspatche) verfügbar. Für die BA ist die zeitlich befristete Überlassung einer qualitätsgesicherten OpenJDK-Software sowie der technische Support, die Pflege inkl. Updates/Upgrades, reine Sicherheitspatche und Hot-Fixe (kritische Sicherheitspatche) notwendig. Dadurch ist sowohl der sichere und supportete Betrieb als auch die Weiterentwicklung der Standard- und Premiumverfahren der BA gewährleistet und sichergestellt.
