Das Kirchengebäude wurde 1783 fertig gestellt und bildet das Zentrum der Klosteranlage Wiblingen. Im Rahmen der Gesamtsanierung des Kirchenbaus sind an den bestehenden Kirchenfenstern im BA3 innen- und außenseitig die Verglasungen zu restaurieren und die Fenstereisen zu beschichten.
