Consultancy to support the development of a Framework of Action on Skills for a Just Energy Transition through Social Dialogue in Mpumalanga and the Eastern Cape.

The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.

Below is a summary of the work to be performed:

The objective in both dialogues would be to validate a framework of action on skills for just energy transition relevant to each province and sector respectively: Understand existing project evidence and recommendations, map stakeholders, agree methodology and workshop programme and dialogue process.

Review relevant international experiences from at least three countries or regions on the dialogue mechanisms including South African experience and existing project research; prepare an initial framework for discussion

Facilitate the Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape social dialogue processes, during which the good practice cases will be shared with participants and the draft framework of action will be discussed and validated. Two comprehensive reports produced.
