Consultancy Services - preparation and development of an inclusive public awareness and education campaign for the Kalinago Territory

Overview REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (GoCD) received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of the Kalinago Development Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract. Payment by CDB will be made only at the request of the (GoCD) and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement. The Grant Agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the Grant Account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than (GoCD) shall derive any rights from the Grant Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Grant. The Ministry of Environment, Rural Modernisation, Kalinago Upliftment and Constituency Empowerment is the Executing Agency of this Project and now wishes to procure consultancy services for the preparation and development of an inclusive public awareness and education campaign for the Kalinago Territory. The objective of the consultancy is to design and implement an inclusive public education campaign and prepare related materials for the Kalinago Territory. The development of the campaign will be done through community consultation at the individual, group, and hamlet levels and it will also incorporate cultural norms and gender equality considerations with a view to influence positive behaviour change. Further details can be found in the attached Terms of Reference. The duration of the assignment is expected to be 40 days over 4 months. The Ministry of Environment, Rural Modernisation, Kalinago Upliftment and Constituency Empowerment now invites interested eligible consultants to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of these consultancy services.
