Anthropic is offering the Claude Campus Student Leadership Programs for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students who want to lead AI-focused clubs, workshops, and discussions on their campuses. The programs are designed to help students build AI fluency, community engagement, leadership experience, and connections with AI experts while exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on education, research, and society. Selected student leaders will receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend to support their activities and engagement throughout the program.

About the Claude Campus Student Leadership Programs

The Claude Campus Student Leadership Programs are designed to empower students to become leaders in conversations and activities surrounding artificial intelligence. Participants will work in partnership with Anthropic to organize campus activities, engage fellow students, and create opportunities for learning and discussion around AI. The programs are open to students at different stages of higher education, with dedicated tracks for undergraduate students, master’s students, PhD students, and postdocs. What Do Student Leaders Do? Selected participants will have opportunities to: - Lead AI-focused student clubs - Organize workshops - Facilitate campus discussions - Explore AI’s impact on education - Discuss AI and research - Examine the social implications of artificial intelligence - Collaborate with Anthropic - Connect with AI experts - Engage with a global network of student leaders The specific activities depend on the leadership track selected by the applicant. Three Claude Campus Leadership Tracks Students can choose from three different tracks based on their academic level and interests. Claude Builder Club The Claude Builder Club is designed for undergraduate students. This track gives undergraduate student leaders an opportunity to create and lead AI-focused campus clubs and engage their peers in exploring artificial intelligence. Activities can focus on building AI fluency, organizing events, and creating a community of students interested in AI. Claude Campus Conversations The Claude Campus Conversations track is intended for master’s students. This program focuses on discussions and conversations surrounding artificial intelligence and its implications for education, research, and society. Master’s students can use the track to facilitate meaningful campus dialogue and connect students with broader conversations around AI. Claude Science Workshops The Claude Science track is designed for PhD students and postdocs. Participants can organize workshops and activities exploring the role of AI in scientific research and related academic fields. The track provides an opportunity for doctoral researchers and postdoctoral scholars to engage their academic communities around emerging AI applications and questions. $3,600 Student Leadership Stipend Each selected student leader will receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend. The stipend is intended to support participants’ activities and engagement throughout the program. This financial support can help student leaders dedicate time and resources toward organizing events, workshops, clubs, and discussions as part of their leadership role. Who Is Eligible to Apply? The program is open to students worldwide who meet the basic eligibility requirements.

Applicants must:

- Be at least 18 years old - Be a student in their relevant academic category - Have work authorization in their country of study Eligibility applies across the different program tracks, although the graduate and PhD tracks may have additional limitations during the initial pilot phase. Graduate and PhD Track Pilot Phase While students worldwide are eligible to apply, the graduate and PhD tracks may initially be limited to a select group of schools during the pilot phase. The undergraduate track is designed around the Claude Builder Club, while master’s students can apply through Claude Campus Conversations and PhD students and postdocs through Claude Science.
