CFPs: Lower Silesia 360° Integrated Farm Advisory Implementation (Poland)

EIT Food is seeking a legal entity or consortium to deliver farmer-facing advisory, training, recruitment, soil sampling, data collection, and peer-learning activities for the Lower Silesia 360° regenerative agriculture landscape in Poland. The €910,786 call will support implementation from January 2027 through December 2028, with the goal of engaging up to 170 farmers across approximately 21,470 hectares.

About the Lower Silesia 360° Regenerative Agriculture Call

EIT Food is inviting applications for an organization or consortium capable of implementing integrated regenerative agriculture activities under the Lower Silesia 360° landscape in Poland. The initiative is part of EIT Food’s Resilient Agriculture Portfolio, which supports the transition toward more resilient and sustainable farming systems across Europe. The Lower Silesia 360° landscape was launched in October 2025 and is planned to continue through the end of 2028. This particular call focuses on delivering farmer-facing activities during 2027 and 2028. The selected organization will work directly with farmers to support regenerative agriculture adoption, improve soil health, strengthen knowledge exchange, and collect data needed to measure environmental outcomes. What Is the Lower Silesia 360° Landscape? The Lower Silesia 360° landscape is a regenerative agriculture initiative designed to support farmers in southwestern Poland in transitioning toward more sustainable and resilient agricultural practices. The initiative takes a landscape-level approach, meaning that it seeks to generate benefits beyond individual farms by improving soil health, agricultural resilience, environmental performance, and knowledge sharing across participating farming communities. Key Objectives of the Call The main objective is to establish and operate an effective farmer-facing advisory and training system for the Lower Silesia 360° landscape.

The selected applicant will help:

Recruit farmers into the landscape program. Provide continuous agronomic advice. Train farmers in regenerative agriculture practices. Support farmer participation in peer-learning activities. Conduct soil sampling and assessment. Collect and manage agricultural and environmental data. Support measurement and verification of soil organic carbon outcomes. Strengthen farmers’ understanding of regenerative farming. Build long-term capacity for sustainable agricultural practices in the region. The program aims to engage up to 170 farmers and approximately 21,470 hectares by the end of 2028, subject to recruitment results and decisions made through the program’s governance arrangements. Priority Crops The farmer-facing activities are expected to support farmers growing a range of rotational crops.

Priority crops include:

Sugar beet Malting barley Wheat Corn Oilseed rape Other rotational crops approved within the landscape program Recruitment is expected to take place through corporate offtaker value chains as well as advisory-led outreach. What Activities Will Be Supported? The successful organization or consortium will be responsible for an integrated package of activities. Farmer Recruitment and Engagement The project will identify and recruit suitable farmers into the Lower Silesia 360° landscape.

Recruitment may be conducted through:

Corporate agricultural value chains Existing farmer networks Agronomic advisory services Direct outreach Other relevant local engagement channels The applicant should be able to communicate effectively with farmers and maintain continuous engagement throughout the project. Agronomic Advisory Participating farmers will receive practical advice designed to help them understand and implement regenerative agriculture approaches. Advisory activities should be adapted to local farming conditions and the crops and production systems represented in the landscape. Farmer Training Training will help farmers build practical knowledge and skills related to regenerative agriculture.

Soil health Sustainable crop production Regenerative farming practices Soil assessment Agricultural resilience Environmental performance Data collection Soil organic carbon measurement Soil Sampling and Assessment An important component of the project is the implementation of soil-sampling activities. The successful applicant must have the operational capacity to conduct MRV-approved soil organic carbon sampling campaigns and apply appropriate agronomic soil-assessment methodologies. This work will provide data needed to evaluate changes in soil condition and carbon outcomes. Data Collection and Management The project will also involve collecting and managing information generated through farmer engagement and field activities. The program will encourage farmers to learn from one another. Peer-learning activities can help participating farmers share practical experiences, discuss challenges, and understand how regenerative approaches perform under real farming conditions. Funding Available The total budget available under this call is €910,786. The selected recipient will receive a subgrant to cover eligible project costs associated with implementation.
