The Southern African Biomanufacturing Training Hub (SA-BTH) invites applications for the “Master the Heart of Biomanufacturing – Bioreactor Operation & Troubleshooting (I-BTH02)” course. This initiative, supported by the KfW Development Bank, aims to enhance biomanufacturing capabilities across Southern Africa by providing cutting-edge training. The course will run from 23 November to 27 November 2026, at the CSIR Pretoria campus, South Africa. Applications are due by 31 October 2026. This course is part of the Strengthening Biomanufacturing Capabilities in Southern Africa (BIOcapSA) programme. It is designed to develop a skilled workforce capable of supporting local manufacturing of biologics, vaccines, recombinant proteins, and therapeutics. The program melds theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical skills necessary for operating, optimizing, and troubleshooting bioreactors. The course offers comprehensive funding for up to 20 South African participants. This includes:
