The Southern African Biomanufacturing Training Hub (SA-BTH), hosted by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in partnership with UVU BIO, is offering a free online course titled “Fundamentals of Quality Management Systems.” This initiative is part of the Strengthening Biomanufacturing Capabilities in Southern Africa (BIOcapSA) programme, supported by the KfW Development Bank. The course begins on 30 November 2026, providing valuable skills in quality management for the biomanufacturing sector. Applications are open until 15 November 2026. The “Fundamentals of Quality Management Systems” course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in quality management systems (QMS) applicable to biomanufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and related sectors. The course is designed to support the development of a competent workforce in Africa’s biomanufacturing industry through theoretical training and practical application.
