The remaining schemes form part of the awarded contract and details regarding the design will be issued at a later point in 2026. The First Playground will be evaluated using the scoring evaluation matrix. The company achieving the highest score will be awarded the tender (a single company). All 3 schemes are required to be delivered and completed between March 2027 and end March 2028. Herne Bay Seafront play area scheme is to be delivered prior to June 2027. Collins Road and Honeysuckle Way play areas to be delivered between July 2027 and March 2028. Tendering companies must explain how they will manage delivery of the schemes in the set period. Documents

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this sports, recreation & events opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.

  • Watch for corrigenda and clarifications right up to the deadline — requirements and dates can change.
