Call for Applications: Strengthening the B3 Sector Programme (Canada)

The Black Opportunity Fund (BOF) invites applications for the Strengthening the BD3 Sector: A National Capacity-Building Program. This initiative, funded by the Government of Canada’s Social Development Partnership Program Disability Component, aims to enhance the capacity of Black Disability-led, Black Disability-serving, and Black Disability-focused (BD3) organizations across Canada. Applications open on 2 November 2026 and close on 27 November 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. The Strengthening the BD3 Sector program addresses the unique challenges faced by Black individuals with disabilities, who encounter both racism and ableism. This program seeks to bridge the gap for organizations working at the intersection of Blackness and disability, often overlooked by conventional capacity-building initiatives, by providing tailored support to enhance their operational capabilities and sustainability.
