RFQ BOCMA 36- 2026 REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR WINDOW FROSTING We request you to prepare a quotation for the following items and according to the specification.

1. Scope of Work

The Service Provider shall supply and install frosted privacy film to existing internal office glass panels/windows to improve privacy while maintaining the transmission of natural light. The installation shall include all labour, materials, equipment, cleaning and finishing required for a complete installation.

2. Material Specification

The frosted film shall:

  • Be premium quality self-adhesive etched/frosted vinyl window film.
  • Have a uniform sandblasted appearance.
  • Allow natural daylight while obscuring visibility through the glass.
  • Be suitable for interior commercial office applications.
  • Be resistant to peeling, bubbling, shrinking and discolouration.
  • Be UV resistant.
  • Be easy to clean using standard glass cleaning products.

The film shall provide:

  • daytime privacy by obscuring direct visibility through the glass;
  • continued transmission of natural light;
  • a professional office appearance.

The frosting shall cover:

  • Entire glass panel (preferred)
  • Have a minimum expected service life of 5–7 years.

The Service Provider shall provide:

  • minimum 12-month workmanship warranty
  • manufacturer's warranty on the window film.

A compulsory site inspection to verify measurements and quantities will be held on Monday, 14

September 2026 between 10: 00 am and 14:00 pm at 52 Voortrekker Road, Bellville, Cape Town.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting quotations. Example of the existing office window Number of offices to be covered – 35 Registered companies are invited to submit quotations to produce the above request.
