RFx ID: 34764333 Organisation: Palmerston North City Council Open date: Monday, 24 August 2026 2:00 PM +12:00 Close date: Monday, 21 September 2026 2:00 PM +12:00 Categories: 72141100 - Infrastructure building and surfacing and paving services 72151100 - Plumbing construction services 83101500 - Water and sewer utilities Region: Manawatu-Wanganui Overview: The Bill Brown Car Park has long served as a key public parking facility supporting visitors, sporting activities and community events within the surrounding park and recreation precinct in Palmerston North. Over time, increased demand for parking, changing traffic movements and the growth of nearby recreational and community facilities have placed pressure on the existing infrastructure. Palmerston North City Council is proposing an extension of the Bill Brown Car Park to improve parking capacity, accessibility and traffic circulation. Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to: • Extend car park (civil works, kerb, pavement, concrete, fence, etc); • Establish/install stormwater connection (pipe works, sumps, attenuation system, etc); • Supply and install 2x double lighting poles with LED lights and related electrical works; and • Close coordination with local Rugby Club while they build their club room nearby during the same period.
