La République de Djibouti a reçu du Fonds Africain de Développement (FAD) un don en vue du financement du Projet de corridor de transport Soudan du Sud – Ethiopie – Djibouti (Phase II). Il est prévu qu’une partie des ressources de ce don soit utilisée pour effectuer les paiements prévus au titre des services de Consultants chargés de réaliser l’étude de base et le suivi évaluation des impacts environnementaux et socio-économiques dans la zone du projet.
L’objet de la présente étude est de dresser un état des lieux de la situation existante dans la zone et dans les secteurs d’intervention avant la phase de construction du projet (situation de référence). Il est également question de développer un outil de suivi-évaluation des impacts du projet, au cours et à la suite de son exécution, par le biais de l’identification et du suivi d’une série d’indicateurs socio-économiques.
