Oslo universitetssykehus, Institutt for kirurgisk forskning, har inngått kontrakt med IonOptix / CytoCypher for anskaffelse av et MyoClamp-system for måling og analyse av kalsiumdynamikk, kraftutvikling og mekanisk arbeid i tynne hjertemuskelpreparater (Living Myocardial Slices, LMS).Anskaffelsen har blitt utført uten konkurranse med hjemmel i FOA § 13-4 (2), da konkurranse etter oppdragsgivers vurdering ikke er mulig av tekniske årsaker.Basert på tilgjengelig markedsinformasjon og faglige vurderinger har oppdragsgiver ikke identifisert andre leverandører som kan tilby en løsning som kombinerer simultan måling av kalsiumdynamikk og kontraktil kraft med force-clamp-funksjonalitet, work-loop-protokoller, integrert analyse av kraft-lengdeforhold og optisk måling av sarkomerlengde i én samlet løsning.Alternative løsninger dekker kun deler av behovet eller mangler sentral funksjonalitet. Vilkårene i FOA § 13-4 (2) anses dermed oppfylt.
