About the International Renaissance Foundation EU Accession Video Tender
The tender seeks a creative individual entrepreneur or limited liability company to develop accessible and engaging video content about Ukraine’s EU accession process and the contribution of civil society. The project aims to make complex decision-making processes easier for the public to understand. The videos should show how civil society organizations participate in consultations, advocacy, public discussions, monitoring, and other stages that can influence important state-level decisions connected with European integration. The content should use informal and popular storytelling techniques rather than traditional institutional communication. Key Objectives of the Tender
The initiative is designed to:
Highlight the contribution of Ukrainian civil society to EU accession. Show the often-unseen role of civil society in state decision-making. Explain how public initiatives and advocacy can influence major policy decisions. Present Ukraine’s European integration process in an accessible format. Increase public awareness of civil society’s role in democratic and European integration processes. Use creative visual storytelling to communicate complex institutional processes. What Will the Selected Contractor Produce? The selected performer will produce five vertical video clips, with each video lasting no more than 60 seconds. The videos should combine several creative formats, including: Collage. Hand-drawn animation. Photography. Motion design. Character voice acting. Subtitles in Ukrainian and English. Other visual storytelling elements where appropriate. Each video should illustrate the journey of a particular state-level decision related to Ukraine’s EU accession. The storytelling should clearly demonstratewhere civil society becomes involved and how its participation contributes to the decision-making process. Required Video Production Responsibilities The selected contractor will be responsible for managing the complete creative and production process.
This includes:
Adapting the provided or agreed script. Developing the visual storytelling approach. Drawing individual visual elements where required. Creating motion graphics and animation. Producing collage-based visual content. Incorporating photographs. Providing character voice acting. Preparing Ukrainian subtitles. Preparing English subtitles. Completing the final video materials according to the required format. The contractor should ensure that the finished videos are both visually engaging and factually clear. Who Can Apply? Applicants may include:
Individual entrepreneurs. Limited liability companies (LLCs). Professional video and creative production providers with relevant experience.
