Het project betreft de vervanging van de riolering en het tijdelijk dichtblokken in de Kleurenbuurt Noord te Zaandam. Het projectgebied ligt in de wijk Pelders- en Hoornseveld en wordt omsloten door de Vermiljoenweg, De Weer, Dominee Martin Luther Kingweg en de Tjotterlaan. De huidige openbare ruimte en riolering zijn verouderd en voldoen niet meer aan de huidige eisen voor waterafvoer, verkeersveiligheid en leefbaarheid. De herinrichting wordt in 2 fasen uitgevoerd. Dit bestek omvat de vervanging van de riolering, het dichtblokken en de zettingsperiode. Na de zettingsperiode, wordt in een ander bestek, het gebied definitief ingericht waarbij wordt gestreefd naar een toekomstbestendige woonomgeving met vernieuwde riolering (gescheiden stelsel), verbeterde wegconstructie, duurzame materialen en een groener straatbeeld.
