Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change invites tenders for The broader objective of the consultancy is to support and control the quality of all civil construction works of the project e.g., construction of climate-resilient houses, cluster houses and adaptation learning centers, repair and strengthening of riverbanks, etc. Specific objectives of this consultancy are to supervise ongoing civil construction works of the Project to ensure the quality of works. To enhance the climate resilience of households and communities through housing and infrastructure that is resilient to cyclones and floods, the project will build 300 climate-resilient houses for the poor communities, construct 10 Cluster houses and 2 Adaptation Learning Centers, and repair and strengthen 24 km of embankment in the Mujibnagar Union under Charfesson Upazila of Bhola District and Lakkhitari Union under Gangachara Upazila of Rangpur District. The project wants to hire a Civil Engineer as a “National Consultant” to supervise the mentioned ongoing construction works of the Project to ensure the quality of work and develop a training module for local construction workers on cyclone- and flood-resilient construction techniques. The Consultant will provide technical support and inputs to operationalize the initiatives for extremely poor households and report to the Project Manager on the progress.
