Um die Sicherheit der Fahrwerke der bei der BVB eingesetzten Fahrzeugserien zu gewährleisten, soll an einzelnen Bauteilen (z. B. Radnaben, Antriebsflansch) eine Instandstellung von spezifischen Fahrwerkskomponenten erfolgen. Die Bauteile (z. B. Radnaben, Antriebsflansch) werden demontiert, gewaschen und zur Abholung bereitgestellt. Die Dienstleisterin stellt laut den Anforderungen des vorliegenden Beschriebs das jeweilige Werkstück instand und dokumentiert das Ergebnis der Instandstellung und Prüfung. Je nach Ergebnis der Instandstellung und Prüfung oder auf Anforderung der Auftraggeberin wird eine entsprechende Handlung gemeinsam abgestimmt.
