Details

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and licensed electrical contractors to provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance services across Sport and Recreation facilities.

Services may include routine maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and tagging, replacement of electrical components, installation of minor electrical infrastructure, emergency call-outs and other related electrical works as required.

The panel will operate as an open panel arrangement for an initial term of 12 months. Multiple contractors may be appointed, with work allocated at Council's discretion based on availability, capability, performance and value for money.

Services will be required across various Council-owned and managed facilities throughout the Tamworth Regional Council Local Government Area.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Contractors must hold all licences, qualifications and insurances necessary to undertake electrical work in New South Wales.

Respondents will be required to demonstrate:

  • Relevant Electrical Contractor Licence.
  • Appropriate workers compensation, public liability and professional insurances.
  • Experience undertaking electrical maintenance and repair works of a similar nature.
  • Compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation.
  • Capacity to provide both planned and reactive maintenance services.
  • Ability to provide emergency and after-hours response when required.

The contract will be managed by Council's Sport & Recreation Division and will be utilised across a range of facilities including sporting grounds, amenities buildings, community facilities and associated infrastructure.
