Disponer del conveniente mantenimiento de los motores CATERPILLAR, así como de acoplamientos elásticos, reductores REINTJES, eje cardam y grupos electrógenos STAMEGNA y CATERPILLAR instalados a bordo de las embarcaciones del Servicio Marítimo de la Guardia Civil, evitando con ello graves perjuicios al servicio por inoperatividad de las mismas, con lo que no se podría cumplir con las misiones asignadas, y tratando de mantener la Imagen Institucional del Cuerpo.
