Verejný obstarávateľ požaduje obstarať pre virtualizačné prostredie VMware licencie pre hosty a vcenter verzie 8.x a produkt „VMware Cloud Foundation 5 - Per Core with a minimum of 16 Cores per CPU“ VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) je multicloudová platforma, ktorá poskytuje kompletnú hyperkonvergovanú infraštruktúru (HCI), ktorá je určená na modernizáciu dátových centier a nasadzovanie moderných kontajnerových aplikácií. VCF je založený na rôznych komponentoch, ako sú vSphere (výpočty), vSAN (úložisko), NSX (sieť) a niektoré časti Aria Suite (predtým vRealize Suite).
