Details

United Utilities is developing the Short Chain PFAS Treatment Accelerator Programme as a proposed Water Innovation Fund Water Breakthrough Challenge 7 bid under the Transform scheme. Through this preliminary market engagement, United Utilities is seeking information from organisations interested in partnering on the project and contributing to its development and delivery through either a monetary contribution or a benefit-in-kind contribution. We are particularly interested in suppliers and technology providers offering treatment solutions capable of removing or reducing short-chain PFAS compounds in water and wastewater applications, as well as organisations able to support testing, evidence generation, technology selection and regulatory readiness.

  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.
